Alex’s films have been screened in various film festivals across the United States. He earned a Best Cinematography Award at the LA Under The Stars Film Festival and a Fan Favorite Award at The Commonwealth Film Festival for his short film, Amontillado, based on the Edward Allan Poe story and he earned a Best Short Film nomination for a science fiction short film, It Came From Above, at the FantaSci Short Film Fest. Both films have gone on to become official selections at various film festivals including The Oregon Short Film Festival, The Redstones Film Festival, The Student Los Angeles Film Awards, Worldcon 76, and the New York Lift-Off Film Festival.
